I play a lot of old Motown and funk gigs and my older horns just weren't cutting and projecting like I needed. Trent recommended this horn and it is great. I was hesitant because the name is not very well-known but this horn is the real deal. It makes everything on those gigs easier. Projection, ease of playing above the staff, feedback, sound characteristics. Everything. I would highly recommend you try this horn.
I had to buy this show demo horn at the 2015 NAMM show off the floor as it played so amazingly well. The Show price reflects the fact that some people did test it but it's very minor testing. I only have one available at this price so buy it today and save!
For me this feels like the Best Calicchio 1s/2 I have ever played but with more eveness and quicker response.
