Mid 1980's Selmer Piccolo Trumpet (Maurice Andre model) with 2 additional Blackburn A pipes
I originally purchased this one for my own use but I ended falling in love with a beautiful Schagerl Berlin Piccolo when I visited the factory last week. I would LOVE to keep this horn but cannot justify owning 3 piccolo trumpets in my own collection.
Most of the lacquer on this horn is gone as you can see in the pictures. I love the look of this horn in it's current state but for an additional $80 we can fully strip it (just reach out to us via email prior to ordering if you want this done).
This horn has a super cool addition, two different Blackburn A pipes. Louisville leadpipes are a $200 additional each to this horn. The horn also comes with the original Bb pipe which plays very well.
Horn has great valve action, a smooth sound very reminiscent of the classic Selmer sounds (after all the Selmer piccolo was the most famous piccolo trumpet in the world thanks to the great Maurice Andre!). Intonation is quite good for a Selmer.
Has been cleaned and serviced here at the shop. It's good to go for a long time for the new customer.
Priced to sell very fairly... a great option for someone looking for a pro piccolo trumpet without crushing your budget.
This horn comes with no case or mouthpiece.
